Green Hills Community Broke Ground on New Maples Expansion -Construction Underway

June 18th, 2024 (AMES, IOWA) – Green Hills Community is excited to announce that they have officially broke ground and are making good headway with their new Maples Expansion construction. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on April 19, 2024. Since then, the general contractor, Story Construction has completed 4% of construction with the entire project set to be completed by Spring 2025.

The Maples Expansion will add 20 new independent living apartments that will be connected to the community. These apartments are fully customizable and offer large and elegant residential living accommodations for independent living. Floor plans range from 1,016 to 1,492 square feet with some opportunity for combination units. The Green Hills Marketing Team has sold 11 of the available 20 apartments with 9 left.

Executive Director, Calista Sievers says, “This project has been in the works for many years and we are excited to see it moving forward. We look forward to moving new residents into our community next spring. Depositors are welcomed into the community right away, so we have the opportunity to get to know them well before their move in.
