Green Hills Health Care Center Receives 2023 Governor’s Award for Quality Care in Health Care Facilities

July 7, 2023 (AMES, IOWA) – Green Hills Health Care Center, has received the Governor’s Award for Quality Care in Health Care Facilities for 2023. This award recognizes Iowa health care facilities that offer unique or innovative activities to enhance the quality of care or quality of life for their residents.

Facilities are nominated for the award by residents and family members. Nominations are open to all health care facilities licensed under Iowa Code Chapter 135C, which include nursing facilities, residential care facilities, and intermediate care facilities, including those facilities specializing in the care of persons with mental illness or intellectual disabilities.

Green Hills is a Life Plan Community providing services according to need for all residents’ independence through a continuum of care.
